My Baby is One!!

Reagan-

Well I can't believe that you have been here for one whole year already!! It just seems like yesterday your dad and I were on our way to the hospital to have you!! Life has been so wonderful having you as part of our family! You came into this world with a big bang!! I couldn't believe you were 9 lbs 5 oz! You had us all shocked!! I can still remember calling Grandma Lloyd after you were born and she was in total disbelief that you were that big. We just had to laugh!! You gave us a little scare because you had fluid in your lungs so they took you away right away to get you on oxygen. I was so sad that I couldn't hold you!! I had waited so long and then I couldn't. It was the best feeling though when I finally got to hold you and look at how beautiful you were!! This last year has been so fun to see you grow and learn. You are one smart little cookie!! You got your first tooth at 7 1/2 months and then got 5 more really fast after that. You never really rolled completely over, you would roll from your back to stomach and then just get mad and then you figured out how to crawl and so rolling was never in it for you. It wasn't long after you started crawling you were pulling up to the couch and cruising all over the place. Then finally at 11 1/2 Months you decided that it was ok and you started walking!! Now your trying to run!!!! You love your sissy!! You follow her around and want to be right by here and play whatever it is she is playing. Ryley loves you so much and has been such a good helper with you!! She makes sure I know when you are crying or sad or do something funny or getting into trouble!!! Reagan you are such a special part of me! I wish I knew how to tell you how much I love you but words don't even begin to express what a mom's love for her child is like. I am so proud of you and I am so grateful I get to be your mommy! I want you to know that your Heavenly Father and Jesus love you so much too and they want you to be happy and do what is right so that together as a family we can one day live with Him again. I love you!!!

New Pics!!

Life has been so crazy and I really don't know where time has gone. We were in Idaho the whole month of August with Clay's brother coming home from his mission, family vacations and my brother getting married!! It was a very fun month. I only put on 2200 miles on my car!!! haha It was crazy. We went to the zoo with my family, to Island Park with Clay's family and many trips in between!!! So fun!!!! It was really hard to come home. Oh ya and I drove home from Idaho with the 2 girls all by myself!!! It was very nerve racking but the girls did awesome and slept pretty much the whole way!!! I just might be able to do it again!!! I don't know we will see when that time comes!! As for lately I really am just trying to feel put together. Just when I think I have everything under control something throws me out of whack and I have to start all over again. I think that is just life and I have to keep reminding myself that things aren't always going to be the way I want them to be. So for a little quick update on the family. Clay has a new project!! He is building an office out off to the side of the house!! He is doing an awesome job and I am so proud of him. Ryley started preschool and totally loves it!! She is so smart and suprises me everyday with new things. She has become such a good helper and I totally love it!! She reminds me quite often that she is a Big Girl!! Reagan is 10 1/2 months and is all but walking. She could totally do it she just won't!! She is getting to be quite the little drama queen and I think is going to give me a run for my money!!! One word- ATTITUDE!!!!! And yes it is capitalized!! As for me same ol stuff lots of hair and most importantly being a mom!!!

To my sweet Ryley-

Three years ago you entered into your Dad and Mom's life and we could not have been any happier. You have brought so much joy and happiness into our home and I can't imagine my life without you. You are such a doll and love to be the center of attention!!!! You have such a sweet spirit and you are learning how to pray and I love to listen to the things you pray for. You are one smart cookie!!! You continue to amaze me everyday with the new things you learn. You are always singing and dancing and it is the cutest thing. I am so proud of you for the little girl you are and for the right choices you are making. You are such a good big sister to Reagan, Ryley she loves you and can't get enough of you!! You can make her laugh harder than anyone and she just totally lights up when you are around. I love that you are such a good helper to Mommy!! It means the world to me when you want to help. You love to help me cook and always are right there with your stool so you can see!!! I love it!!! I love your silliness and funny faces!! I love how you love to do hair and always want to help me comb mine or style it when we are just hanging out. I love to just cuddle with you on the couch and watch movies cause we like the same movies!!! You are my little buddy sis and I am so grateful that Heavenly Father allowed me to be your mom!!! You are my special little princess and I love you with all my heart!! I hope you will always know that you are a Child of God and that He loves you more than anything. Always remember who you are and try everyday to become more like our Savior. Daddy and I love you so much and we are excited to continue to watch you learn and grow!

Ok Ok I know!!

So I am such a slacker and I know I said I was going private like 2 months ago and I will someday soon. I don't know why but something is messed up in my settings and it won't let me go private. Soooo... I am trying to decide what to do about it!!! SO hang in there with me. But to just give a quick update!! We are doing good and life is flying by so fast. My little Reagers is going to be 6 months this week~~ I can't believe it!!! She is my little chunk!! When we took her to her 4 month check the doctor pretty much told me she was obese and that I need to control her feedings. She told me no rice cereal or anything until she was 6 months because she is way off the charts. Well I wanted to cry and it really hurt my feelings. So I let it get to me for quite a while and then I decided to just brush it off and be so grateful I have a healthy happy baby!! I just want to know why when you are in a store and someone says "oh she is so adorable" and then asks you how old your baby is and you tell them 6 months and then they give you a look like Holy cow lady lay off the feedings your baby is so much bigger than that. Why even ask? Totally breaks this mom's heart. I know she is a chunk but she is my chunk!!!! Sorry just a little flustered!! Don't mess with my kids lady!! Ryley is going to be 3 next month and I just don't want her to grow up. We had our ward talent show last Friday night and she decided she wanted to sing a song. I thought no way is she going to get up there and sing cause she gets a little shy in front of a lot of people but I said go for it!! She totally got up there and grabbed the mic and sang Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star with Katelyn(one of the Laurels in our ward)!! I was beaming from one ear to the other. I was so proud of her. It was so cute!! She is just the funniest thing sometimes!!! She always says "when I get big like a mom then I can do..." and says what she is going to do. It is pretty funny!!! Clay is just as busy as can be with work!! And as for me I am just enjoying life being a mom and being with my girls everyday!!! Wouldn't want to be anywhere else!!

So I didn't ever want to have to do this but after some stalking of some good friends of ours we have decided it is time to go private. It kind of scared both Clay and I and we feel it is best for our family to keep things only open to those we know. So please leave your email address on the comments so we can add you. Never Say Never

So I have learned a very valuable lesson here this last week. Never say Never!!! So here is the story... Ryley's friend Layken has cut her hair a couple of times this past year and in talking to Brooke (Layken's Mom) I told her that Ryley knows better and that I am the only one who cuts hair. Well Brooke laughed at me and said I can't wait till she cuts her hair. Ha ha Ya right I thought she won't ever do that because I have told her over and over again that I am the only one, right? Well last week as we were in Idaho Clay's mom asked if I would cut her hair. So we did and we left the scissors and cape out on the counter. We both left the room to do things and were seriously gone for like maybe 5 minutes max. We came out and Tony said that the cape was full of hair. We both knew that Cindy had shaken the cape and gotten all of the hair out, well lo and behold it was full of hair with locks of hair. I said that is Ryley's hair. The little stinker had gotten the scissors and cut right in the front right by her cheek. Oh man I don't think I have ever been so mad at her. I was so mad inside that I didn't even know what to do. Vexed is the word Brooke used!!! So I didn't even want to tell Brooke the story because I knew she would give me so much slack for it but I did and now we just laugh. So needless to say Ryley now has a new haircut given by me her mother the ONLY one who cuts her hair!!!

SO on the COUNTDOWN!!!

Well can I just tell you how excited I am!!!! My awesome little brother is coming home this friday from his mission!!! WHOO HOOOO!!!! So we are at 4 1/2 days left!! In Relief Society yesterday (by the way I have been waiting for this sunday for awhile now) they said any good news minutes and ya well I couldn't contain my hand from flying in the air and waving like a little kid in class with the answer!!! haha Ya that was me!! I was so excited to have a good news minute. I usually don't say much during good news minutes but I was so happy so say that one!!! Oh ya and my next good news minute will be when Ryley is wearing big girl panties to church!!! So hopefully that one will come soon!!! So I just hope this week goes by fast so we can get to Idaho and be at the Twin Falls airport to welcome him home!!! Ryley is so excited even though she really doesn't know who Josh is but she knows he is coming home!! It is going to be such a fun day!!!

SiSteRs!!

Oh my sweet, sweet girls!! I just love them to pieces! They are so much fun and bring so much joy to my life. I don't know what I would do without them. We have lots and lots of fun together. Ryley is working on being a big girl and is doing so well at the whole potty training thing. She has been doing awesome. I am so proud of her. She just decided one day that she was ready and she did it. She is such a good big sister to Reagan. She loves to push her in her swing, give her her binkie, and hold her. She is pretty good about telling me she is awake even when it means she had to wake her up to tell me!! She loves to do hair!! She is always doing someones hair!! Oh my little hair dresser!! Reagan is now 2 1/2 months old and is the happiest baby ever!! She is really starting to talk and interact with us. She loves to watch Ryley and Ryley loves for her to pay attention to her. I took her to the doctor today for her 2 month wellness check and yes she is gaining weight!!! Oh my little chunker weighs 16 lbs!!! She is way over the top of the charts, in fact the nurse said she wasn't even on the charts!!! haha I just had to laugh!! I love my little chunkamunker!! She is in the 95% for height so we are doing good I would say!! She is an awesome sleeper, she sleeps through the night and in her crib!!! For all of you who know my past history with Ryley in my bed!! Yes Reagan is even in her own room!!! I am very proud of myself!!! (pat on the back)!!!! I just love my girls and I could go on and on!!

A quick update!!

So I am a slacker, I know!! Life has been crazy and we just got back from Idaho. We had a wonderful Christmas even though the weather kept my family from coming and enjoying it with us. We were able to spend time with friends and so it made it all better. We went to Idaho for the Idaho Ag Show for the past 2 weeks and now we are back home so Clay can put on the Washington Ag Show!! SO he is keeping busy. I am keeping really busy with my two girls and loving every minute of it minus a few meltdowns and tantrums. They are both growing like crazy, I can't believe it!! I will post pictures later cause I can't get my computer to read the card. So for now that's about it and I will update later!!!
