A Day at the Park!!

Well it has been a busy week last week, getting all moved in and settled. What a job can I tell you. I didn't know we had so much stuff but we do and we still aren't totally done yet. But the last stuff just goes in the garage and we need to just get it organized. Thanks so much to my super organized husband our garage will look so neat and clean when it all gets done. It already does but it will be even more so when we are all done. Saturday my friend Tiff called and said they were going to the park and so Clay said just go and get away for awhile. It was a blast and Ryley had so much fun. It was fun to hang out with my friends and watch the kids play. Ryley is getting so big. She goes up and down the play yard like she is a big kid and it is so fun to watch her. She loved going down the slide and would just make her rounds over and over again. Then we went to SONIC and got yummy drinks!! It is so fun to have nice weather to play outside and to have a park so close to go play at!!

It's Official!!

We are finally HOME OWNERS!!! Yeah!! We got our keys to our house on Friday and we spent all day Saturday painting and we got done!! It looks so good! Thanks to all the wonderful help we had. My Mom and Dad came up from Idaho to help and I don't know what we would have done without them. Also we had our good friends Terry and Billy help. And thanks so much to Tiffany for watching Ryley all day!! I don't know what I would have done without Tiff. Such a big help. So here are a few pictures, our house, THE KEYS!! and Ryley on her new lawn!! We are so excited to finally have a house and to have somewhere to call home!

Oh American Idol

If only they would allow 20 month olds to try out for American Idol cause we would totally have a winner. Little Miss Ryley is quite the little singer. She totally cracks me up. She sings around the house all day long. We sat down to watch American Idol last night and as they are all singing Ryley carries right along with them. It is too funny. She sings her ABC's and pretty darn well for not being able to completely talk and say things right. But we get the jist of it. Also her favorite song we sing in the car is Bubbly by Colbie Caillat. She loves it when that song comes on and knows quite a few of the words. She is just so much fun. I just can't believe how fast she is growing. I only wish they could stay little for longer. I love the stage she is at right now. She has started telling me when she needs to go potty and she goes on the big girl potty!! We kind of stopped for awhile cause it became a bigger fight than anything so I just decided to let her take her time and she would one day be ready. And hopefully now it will be an ongoing thing and not just a fling. But we are working on it and being pretty successful. Yeah Ryley!!! We are getting really close to closing on our house. Next Thursday we get to sign papers and then hopefully Friday the 29th we will be official home owners and be able to start painting and hanging blinds and all that good stuff so we can MOVE IN!!!!! YEAH!! It is about time. I am ready to be done with apartment living and have a house of my own.

I'm so glad when Daddy comes home!!

Yeah!!! Today has finally come!! Clay has been gone to Mexico since Thursday and was gone to Moses Lake Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. He came home those nights but still we have been very lonely girls in the Allen household. SO he is flying home now as we speak and I am so excited to see him. Ryley is too. I didn't think she really knew he was gone but earlier she was saying "I want Daddy" so I think she has figured it out. I just know that I never want to be a single mom ever. I don't know how those that are do it. More power to you. It really makes me grateful for Clay and all he does to help me out. He is awesome. I love him so much and we can't wait to go pick him up from the airport!! Only 3 1/2 hours left to go!! I hope the time passes quick. We have definatly had a lot of fun while he was away. Ry and I did a little shopping for stuff for our house and found just what we were looking for. And last night I went out with all the girls and had a total blast. It is so fun to have good friends and to laugh. Wow my stomach hurt by the time we were done. Thanks girls definatly want to do that again and soon!!! Ryley's eyes are doing great. I still can't believe how fast that all came on but she has been so good about it and thankfully I didn't get it either. The house is still just coming along and looking more and more like a home. It is really exciting!! Can't wait to move in!! And I am way excited because my friend Tiff and her husband Terry are building like 5 houses down from us so that is going to be so awesome. We will have way too much fun living that close. Well anyways... That's about it!! Love you all!!

Pink Little Sad Eyes

So yesterday Ryley started having just a little green gunk in her eyes and I didn't think much about it. I thought oh just a little sleepy bug no big deal. Well as the day went on it just kept getting worse and worse so I decided to take her to the Physicians Imediate Care cause I just had a feeling something wasn't right. Well my Mom knew exactly what it was and sure enough we have Pink Eye in both eyes and it is not very fun. Ryley has been a little trooper and has been pretty good about letting me get the gunk out of her eyes and letting me put in her drops. So here are a few pictures. One is of this morning when she woke up she couldn't even open her eyes they were pretty much sealed shut and that took awhile to unstick. And the other is of later today*. She is still pretty puffy and red but we are hoping it will go down within the next few days. I love you Ryley!! Thanks for being such a big girl!!!

Sorry not text!

Well on the house pictures sorry there is no text!! Just to let you know we finally have trim, doors, cupboards, and counter tops!! It looks great!! I need to get some finished pictures of the counter top because it looks awesome. We saw it in the dark done but I haven't got over there to take pictures!! So it is all looking up and we are supposed to close on the 21st they moved up the date. I just hope they can get the house finished before then. They have all the outside painting, yard and cement to get done and there is so much mud over there it is just yucky to even get up to the house. So we will keep our fingers crossed but not get our hopes up way too high yet!!
